ADD–Ghana has organized a five-day workshop for 50 teachers from Tamale and surrounding districts to improve inclusive classroom practices. The training focused on teaching children with visual, hearing, and mobility impairments, and provided assistive materials such as Braille charts and visual aids.

“Teachers are the frontliners of inclusion. With the right tools, they can transform classrooms into spaces where every child belongs,” said Ms. Grace Abubakar, Education Officer at ADD–Ghana.

The initiative, supported by local education authorities, will help improve school enrollment and retention for children with disabilities.
